Yep, that's me and my favorite spatula. |
Just because my vision would put the studio kitchens on The Food Network to shame, however, doesn't mean it wouldn't also be a geek haven. Oh, no! One of the best things about being an adult (aside from eating dessert for breakfast or breakfast for dinner), is being able to express your geek love however much or little you may want. So, in addition to being classy as hell, my dream kitchen is also Star Wars themed, because I can. Here are my top 10 items to keep your geek kitchen chic whether you're on the Death Star or a Rebel Base:
1. X-Wing Knife Block
It's so shiny!! |
2. Han Solo in Carbonite Silicone Mold
I own this and can confirm that these are delightful floating in a cocktail! |
3. Darth Vader Cutting Board
I am totally in love with this design! |
4. Yoda Cutting Board
Prefer to save your knives and use a wood board? Adorable, is this not?! |
5. Cut Steel Boba Fett Trivet
I need this in my life. Seriously, I cannot over-emphasize how much I love this trivet. |
6. Imperial Mixing Spoons
Perfect for whipping up some Dark Side Cookies |
7. Rebel Alliance Cookie Cutter
Who says the Dark Side are the only ones with cookies? Bonus: This cutter is biodegradable! |
8. Star Wars Pin-Up Apron
Keep it classy with this adorably understated apron |
9. Vintage Style Embroidered Dishtowels
A little thin for dishtowels, I'd use these hand-embroidered linens as fancy napkins |
10. Jedi Hand Towel
This, however, would make a great kitchen towel |
*If you want to contribute to my dream kitchen, I will totally bake you insanely delicious Groot shaped cookies as a thank you. Just throwin' that out there...
I need all of this! I don't even know what a trivet is, but I need it.

That is an awesome way to stir up the traditional kitchen look. I'm sure that an R2-D2 trash bin will fit in perfectly in your kitchen. Hahaha! Anyway, I hope you materialize that dream kitchen soon, Eris. All the best to you! :)
